Tao Yoga Certification

SunDo International is a world-wide credentialing association which sets training standards for Tao Yoga Teaching and Tao Yoga Breathwork Coaching. These standards addresses 7 educational categories that prepare instructors to teach Tao Yoga practice. Emerging categories in yoga and meditation include Energy Anatomy and Psychology. Practice requirements (150 hours) provide extensive experience in refining one's personal practice in preparation to teach others.

Currently, Tao Yoga educational standards apply to 250 hour training for both assistant instructor and breathwork coaching trainees. All other instructors at subsequent levels continue training in Tao Yoga practice but continuing education workshops are then offered at seasonal retreats each year. Tao Yoga assistant instructors and breathwork coaches who successfully complete the 250 hour training are eligible for local promotions on Facebook and inclusion in quarterly e-news announcements. Lead Instructors who complete the 500 hour training are eligible for inclusion on the Tao Yoga website.

SunDo International is a tax-exempt, educational non-profit dedicated to promoting the study and practice of Taoist Yoga, Breathwork & Meditation. Founded in 1979, SunDo has become a international organization of leaders & educators  working toward personal healing and transformation for all.

The Taoist Yoga Training Program does not accept any prior certification in place of our proprietary 250 hour program. However, students with certain types of prior yoga or meditation experience may be eligible for reduced tuition at the discretion of the studio director or trainer.
