SUNDO SPRING RETREAT 2026
At the SunDo Retreat Center, we offer all our programs on a sliding scale donation basis, in the spirit of generosity. Any donation—no matter how small—helps us to continue to offer these retreats to future participants. Each contribution enables the sustainability of our work in the world. We are grateful for all forms of support!
Retreats are offered at standard or early-bird suggested rates. To pay, choose the appropriate amount for your retreat and then enter that amount as your donation. Your donation goes to SunDo, a 5013c non-profit, so that we may continue our work of creating a healthier, happier society through Taoist practice and education.
Early-bird donations are suggested within a one-month or two-week period before the retreat's start date:
*May 8. For instructors, please find your suggested discount to calculate below.

The Sundo Retreat center has a variety of buildings for lodging. There is a women-only mobile home which has a bathroom, kitchen, heat and large one-room dorm space. Our meditation hall serves as a men's dorm at night with shelves that serve as storage space for bedding during the day. Additionally there are bathrooms/showers and cots available in the main building. Tenting sites are also available. Guests must bring their own towels, sheets, blankets and pillows if possible. If traveling light, please contact us to secure bedding, mats or tents and sleeping bags.
It is recommended to bring waterproof boots, extra socks, snow pants (in winter), a flashlight or headlamp, waterproof jacket or poncho, towels and toiletries. Meditation cushions are not required, but welcome if you'd like to bring one. Bathing suits are optional for swimming in the nearby brook during warmer months.
The retreat experience is one where we are a community and the price of the retreat reflects that there is a communal aspect to things. For example while the food is provided we ask each attendee to help out in preparing one of the meals. In addition, we ask that guests help with general cleaning of their sleeping space on the last day of the retreat.
